As always, the originals are the best but this really is a fine selection of excellent cover versions. Occasionally quite different, mostly acoustic or semi acoustic, these work consistently well. There is a second volume that maintains the standard too. If you want to relive the 80s without the over production and big hair dos of the originals, this is a good compilation to start with.
