I paired this with a Lutron Switch (Lutron MRF2-600M-WH Maestro Wireless 600W Single-Pole or Multi-Location Dimmer, White) for a closet where the switch is in a hard to reach locaction. Now, when I walk in the closet, it catches my movement and turns on the light (a nice, rapid raising of the lights... not a snap-on effect like a normal switch). When I'm not in the closet for more than 5 minutes, the lights go off.Note... this setup doesn't work with fluorescent lights (I was going to replace the circular fluorescent fixture in the closet anyway) or the LED flat panel light fixture I also tried (it had a ballast like a fluorescent). It worked beautifully with a standard incandescent light fixture.Worked perfectly in combination with the Lutron MRF2-6ANS Maestro wireless switch to automate our master bedroom closet lightVery simple set up. Just select the location you want to detect movement and mount, sync to switch and you're done. Very satisfied with the result.I have these installed throughout my house. I never have the lights go out inappropriately. No more yelling at the wife and kids! The link that brought me to this page stated that this was a newer item... this is in fact an older and more expensive version.
