everything is great.Great emergency radio, chargeable with solar or mechanical. Reception not as clear in hilly areas, but it does the job.I was surprised how much I like this little radio! Smaller than expected, which is a good thing in emergency situations. I use the radio all the time and occasionally the NOAA as well as we've had some bad storms lately, and that's why I bought it.My first purchase is a defective one. It can't pick up a tune on FM/NOAA band, and the unit itself does not work on AAA battery. Fortunately, Amazon sent me a replacement unit two days later and it worked as expected this time. I get to listen to music, the local news and the weather during night shifts. The small solar panel, the hand crank on the back and the dual DC 5V ports worked perfectly as indicated by a red steady light on the "Charge/Power" indicator. There is also an option to use AAA batteries when preferred. Its LED flashlight is a great feature and emits a good amount of illumination. Despite the initial glitch, I still recommend this product to anyone looking for a versatile, lightweight and portable radio on the go.Great compact radio which receives FM/AM and NOAA weather channel. Easy to use. We live in country and had no problem getting reliable channels clearly. I like the old fashioned volume/on/off and tuning dials. I personally like that it can be powered via solar panel, AA batteries or crank. It also has a flashlight and a plug in to charge your phone. Overall, a great item I have no hesitation recommending to others. So far so good although it arrived late. This is a small portable radio but with a powerful reception. Excellent choice.Nice little radio! Excellent for emergencies. Good reception, handy size and easy to charge! Motorola has discontinued the manufacture of these radios. If you need one hurry and order! The DC charging port broke off within 3 months rendering the device unusable. Called the support number listed (Motorola) and they’ve bumped us around to 7 other numbers, all of which claim they don’t support this sale.Do not buy.Ordered 2 for xmas gifts. Both do what is expected of them. The sound quality is quite good for such a small, basic unit.
