Good fit (snug and no gap at base).Decent quality for the price.For my small Yaesu VX-2, it works well using VHF and I get better reception when listening to WX (less drop-outs).From home, I am now able to hit one of the repeaters I wanted, that the stock ducky wouldn't, no matter how I oriented myself (direction).This isn't much taller than the stock, but the improvement is easy noticeable for the frequencies/repeaters that I use in my area.For the improvement I get, fit, finish, size, receptions, I'm giving it 5-stars for the price point.This has became (for now) my main at home use antenna for the Yaesu VX-2 for listening and now I can hit one of the main repeaters if/when I need to.Have longer antenna for the times when out and about and when needed, but this does what I need at home.
