It does what it says it does but very disappointed in the quality of materials and operationsI liked the green display and the size but the directions to set it up are not clear enough for an older personI honestly would have rated this higher but I bought it for my elderly mother and she had a hard time with it. She can’t see the buttons on it that well, it is a lot smaller than she had expected. The sound quality is pretty good for a cheap little radio. It’s very light and about the size of my hand. The display is pretty clear and I was able to set it for my mom pretty easily. She can set it so an alarm goes off or the clock comes on to wake her up.Is very nice and not to high it fits under my flat screen tv, and thats what i wanted, thanksI bought this hoping it would replace our finally retired clock radio with cd player. It did not. it was smaller than I thought. It also doesn't catch the radio stations without some static. I'm older so I still like having a clock radio rather than my iPhone alarm. However, this little clock radio alarm clock blares out staticky music and I end up using the iPhone...I wouldn't buy it again. It's had to set the alarm. I'm probably going to replace it.I really like how this clock's numbers are visable across the room. It is bright and perfect on my desk, in my bedroom. Highly recommend. It was difficult to find a decent alarm clock which actually plugs into the wall socket. Firstly, when the power is on, the preset time and radio is all erase. Thus, you need to reset against the time and radio. By right, the preset time and radio should not be erase even when the power is off. just like other types of radio or car, preset radio and time do not erase.Beside, I do not understand the function of battery. The battery is suppose for backup when power off. The time do not display even when the power off and battery has been inserted. Thus, what is the purpose to have battery on this radio. Really dissappinted. Do not buy this productVery confusing set-up instructions, except perhaps if you're a technical genius. After some frustration, I managed to set the alarm time, which I am now stuck with forever because I won't dare try to set another alarm time. Please, someone write a "Phillips Digital Alarm for Dummies", I need it!me gusta el radio, únicamente comentar que su configuración no es tan fácilmente, debes tomarte un rato para poder hacerlo. me gusta la alarma se configura con sonido o radio, eso es muy útil.En caso de estar en la memoria 1 y quieres la ir la 10, tienes que moverte de una en una hasta llegar a 10. No puedes ubicar de un solo toque la memoria que quieres.Los números de la pantalla son mas chicos de lo que yo esperaba.
