This came on schedule, and is nicely manufactured and works fine. It comes with light chains so you can hang it from the ceiling or wall. Cool.However, you may want it to stand on a desk or shelf -- it has no provision for that. I modified it by putting 2" posts near the bottom (drilled through the plastic) to support it at about an 80 degree angle. To make it look neater, I ground off a couple of millimeters of its plug and super-glued it to the side so the cord is neatly dressed.Note that the cord is less than a meter long. What I did was cut the cord and add a 1/8" plug/jack set in the middle: this provided quick-disconnect and allowed me to add a standard 1/8" extension cord (it will need to be male at one end and female at the other) in between to lengthen the cord to my needs.
