This is just what I needed to install my aftermarket stereo. Hooked up to the stock stereo harness and was a breeze to crimp onto the new harness. With all that said, most would assume that you match color to color and it all would work great, that wasn't the case. Apparently the harness and/or VW has a silly wiring system where Yellow is power and Red is ignition, the harness does have print on the wiring that explains which wire is which but I didn't look at that until after I ran into this issue. Hope this saves someone the hassle of recrimping some wires. Besides that, the harness works great, highly recommend, just double check that you're really connecting the correct wire to the correct wire.
