High Gain UHF/VHF 144-430MHz Dual Band Mobile Antenna 100W for Ham Radio - Perfect for Car, Truck & Emergency Communication Scenarios

I’ve never really been happy with this antenna. It receives well with decent gain, but I’m not able to get out very far and sometimes can barely break squelch just a few miles away from some local repeaters. I listen more than I talk anyway when mobile, so I’ve just put up with it for over a year. I finally borrowed a NanoVNA from a friend to test all my antennas and feed lines. Meter was spot on for every antenna… unfortunately, for this one too. On 70cm, SWR was 3.5 at best in the middle of the band and much higher near the edges. On 2m, SWR was between 6-7 across the entire band. Pretty flat, but crazy high! It is a wonder I didn’t burn out my radio this last year.
